“You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch….”. A favorite holiday character inspires a tasty Christmas cookie- Grinch Christmas Kiss Cookies. A simple and sweet sugar cookies, rolled in sugar, and topped with a candy cane kiss.
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is my favorite holiday movie. I always find myself singing a lot and laughing at The Grinch and his sneaky ways. My boys love the movie as well and we end up watching it numerous times during the holidays. We have watched the different versions of the movie, and we are a strong vote for the original version.
I love to make different Grinch themed treats during the holidays. We love peanut butter blossom cookies, and I thought it was a great opportunity to get inspiration from a favorite holiday movie.
These cookies are very easy to make with a simple sugar cookie base. The cookie is rolled in sanding sugar before baking, and topped with an adorable candy cane kiss. I like to use sanding sugar over a green sprinkle because the color stays nice and vibrant.
If you aren’t a peppermint fan you can certainly make these with a traditional chocolate kiss and they will be delicious!
